What now?

Since my time as guest blogger ends today, I’m gonna need a new creative outlet. I’ll take any suggestions you have, but here are some ideas for novels and stuff I’ve been working on. I definitely want feedback one way or the other.

Idea for novel 1: After not getting into Berkeley, Christian McBallin contemplates joining the Peace Corps.

2: After not getting into Berkeley, Topher McGuckin wrestles with the idea of reapplying.

3: After not getting into Berkeley, Kriss MacCown has to tell his parents about his rejection.

4. After not getting into Berkeley, Christopher McGowan goes to a family barbecue where everyone asks him if he got into Berkeley or not.

5. After not getting into Berkeley, C.J. McDonough calls an old friend he hasn’t spoken to in weeks.

6. After not getting into Berkeley, C. Jonathan McElroy plans a trip to Ireland to trace his roots on his dad’s side.

Idea for movie script 1: After not getting into Berkeley, John McBowin gets pulled over by a cop and receives a speeding ticket that he doesn’t think he really deserves. Feels ashamed.

2. After not getting into Berkeley, John C. MacOwan tries to decide whether he likes The Shining as an actually good movie or as a joke.

3. After getting into Berkeley (!), Jon Maloney tries to decide whether he wants to go there or to U of Chicago.

4. After not getting into Berkeley, Matt Christianson begins working at a liqour store to get ideas for a novel he wants to write about working at a liqour store.

5. After not getting into Berkeley, Joe MacConnell tries to convince people to watch The Wire to teach them about politics.

6. After not getting into Berkeley, ‘Toe’ Murphy wrestles with the idea of asking his parents for some money for a night out in Atlantic City.

3. After not getting into Berkeley, C– looks through old journals that he finds randomly one day in the place where he keeps all his old journals.

4. After not getting into Berkeley, Chris Mickelstein tries to justify his vegetarianism to his aging great-aunt in a humorous exchange.

5. After not getting into Berkeley, Cole Risstopher becomes embroiled in his little sister’s drama and must egg the house of a fifteen year-old he’s never met.

6. After not getting into Berkeley, John Toperson has been sending a lot of text messages recently and is starting to worry that he may be over the limit of 1,000 per month.
